Elqui Valley , Alcohuaz and Casona Distante as one of its most representative points. It is one of the most beautiful touristic areas of Chile , favoured by national and international visitors.

The climate in Alcohuaz and the valley is stable, semi-arid and warm with winter rains. Minimal temperature of 15 degrees and maximum of 20 degrees Celsius during the summer. In the cold weather months, the temperatures range between 5 and 20 degrees Celsius. Humidity is generally low.
